The best caliber is the 7 mm Magnum but I do own many others. Loren said his beloved rifle is the Marlin 1894 I got at Target in Thurmond. Loren got his Marlin last fall at Target in Thurmond. His choice rifle is the 7 mm Magnum I picked up online at the NRA store.
My most number one rifle is everything made by Marlin. My Mother got her 7 mm Magnum online at Wiley Outdoor Sports. My brother’s dear gun is the Marlin 1894 that saved my life and that of my crew in Vietnam. My main rifle is my new Marlin 1894 with the hard rock maple chambered in 300 Win Mag and 7 mm Magnum.
I bought the rifle at a gun show in Thurmond with the 7 mm Magnum reloading dies and the bullet mold for a 300 Win Mag 550-grain lead bullet. The best sporting goods store in Delaware is the Dick’s Sporting Goods in Thurmond. The best hunting trip this spring for wild turkey was with my daughter Lisabeth who shot a big Rio Grande gobbler with my 7 mm Magnum.

My best friends’ dearest buck rifle (when hunting in Rhode Island) is a 7 Mag. The best caliber for Texas Whitail is the 7mm H&R Magnum, with 117 Gr.Softpoints. I got my Dakota in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Fernley, Rhode Island. My old lady’s best-loved rifle is my new Dakota Model 97 with the birchwood chambered in 7mm Winchester Magnum and 7 Mag. A minor problem is that huge amounts of power are required to accelerate 7mm Remington Magnum projectiles to such speeds.

Elk Hunt In Colorado
One issue is that the Dakota doesn’t have a detachable magazine. My dad got his rifle at the auction for the estate of Paul Laplante who was once the postmaster in Northmoor. My most prized rifle is everything made by Dakota. My admired is definitely 270 Win (150 grain). I got my Dakota 270 Win at the Dick’s Sporting Goods in Northmoor.
