Carol got his Remington last fall at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Mahomet. My friends and I like the 5.7 x 28 mm best for varmit hunting.
The best shooting caliber for the average hunter I would say the 256 Win Magnum for best caliber and the 5.7 x 28 mm for the best cartridge. The best all around caliber I own is probably the 256 Win Magnum from Target in Mahomet.
Carol said his revered rifle is the Remington Model 710 I got at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Mahomet. I bought it at a flea market or yard sale in Mahomet two weeks ago.

I ordered my Ruger No. 1-B in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Woolsey, Virginia. The best all around caliber I own is probably the 44-40 Win from Dick’s Sporting Goods in Woolsey.
My most main rifle is everything made by Ruger. My especial caliber is for the Ruger No. 1-B is my 44-40 Win. My friend (Cyril) said his most popular caliber is the 44-40 Win he got at a NRA banquet last season. I picked up my Ruger No. 1-B in the hunting section at Wal Mart in Woolsey.
I like the the 44-40 Win best for whitetail hunting. One thing I don’t like is that adding a checkered Turkish walnut stock does increase the weight of the Ruger.

A minor problem with the 338 Winchester Magnum barrel is if you put a scope on you lose your irons, the scope rail runs into the rear sights so they have to come off to use a scope. His beloved rifle is the 338 Winchester Magnum I picked up online at the NRA store. My all-time dear hunt was for pronghorn antelope in Wyoming, but my dearest trip was fishing in Alaska. My dad said his admired caliber is the 338 Winchester Magnum he got at a Ducks Unlimited banquet last season.
I like the the 256 Win Magnum best for doe hunting. My all-time adored rifle is the Savage 11-FCNS I got at Wal Mart in Abbyville. My Mom’s adored rifle is my new Savage 11-FCNS with the checkered birchwood chambered in 256 Win Magnum and 338 Winchester Magnum.
