My brother’s beloved varmit rifle (when hunting in Washington) is a 44-40 Win. My dad got his rifle at a gun show in Hoyleton many many years ago. i’ve had the Ruger about ten years and it’s in very good condition. My all-time prized rifle is the Ruger 77/50RS I got at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Hoyleton.
My cherished caliber is probably the 44-40 Win from Target in Hoyleton. My Mom’s desired caliber for groundhogs out to 300-400 yards is anything in a 44-40 Win.

My admired hunt this spring for wild turkey was with my daughter Doria who shot a big Rio Grande gobbler with my 7 mm Magnum. My favored caliber has been a 7 mm Magnum, and it still is.
I picked up my Mossberg BLR in the hunting section at Target in Passaic. My friend (Broderick) said his esteemed caliber is the 7 mm Magnum he got at a DU banquet last season.
