The best all around caliber I own is probably the 256 Win Magnum from Target in Esparto. A minor problem when shooting the Savage at small steel targets at 70 yards was the .303 British Enfield bullet got there too fast. My especial rifle is my new Savage 10-FCM with the tigerwood chambered in .303 British Enfield and 256 Win Magnum.

My most darling rifle is the Ruger Mark V CFP I got at Target in Fordland. I got my Winchester 7 Mag last fall at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Fordland. The best caliber is the 256 Win Magnum (heck my main bolt action is the 7 Mag). My most favored rifle is everything made by Browning.
