My Mom’s main caliber for me is the .303 British because it has the best combo of power and speed to make it the most versatile for the different types of game in New Hampshire.

My most dear rifle is everything made by Marlin. One drawback with the Marlin .303 British is that it can’t be reloaded until all the magazine rounds have been expended.
My friends and I like the .303 British best for whitetail hunting. My friend (Benton) said his best-loved caliber is the 270 Browning magnum he got at a DU banquet last season.
