My mom’s favorite rifle is my new Marlin 366SS with the walnut chambered in 7.32 x 39 and 256 Win Mag. His favorite rifle is the 256 Win Mag I picked up online at the NRA store. One thing I don’t like with most 256 Win Mag calibers is that you can’t buy factory ammunition. I like the Marlin 366SS a lot because the rife its cambered in more than anything else.

I got my Ruger 45-70 online at Cabelas. I got my Ruger in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Lynnfield, Colorado.
The best caliber is the 45-70 (heck my favorite bolt action is the 30-30). My favorite rifle is everything made by Ruger.
One thing I don’t like is that huge amounts of power are required to accelerate 45-70 projectiles to such speeds. For deer hunting I like a handy laminated birch stocked Ruger Ultra Light for hunting under 200 yards. I like the the 45-70 best for deer hunting. Our favorite rifle is the 30-30 I picked up online at the NRA store.
