My friend (Johnny) said his favorite caliber is the .303 British he got at a NWTF banquet last season. I used to like that you can shoot the Winchester 270 Win without much fuss.
My Dad’s favorite caliber for the average hunter I would say the .303 British for best caliber and the 270 Win for the best cartridge. I got my Winchester .303 British last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Wiscasset. My most favorite rifle is the Winchester Model 1885 I got at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Wiscasset.
