My friend (Percy) said his favorite caliber is the 7 Weatherby Mag he got at a NWTF banquet last season. My favorite rifle is everything made by Remington. The best hunting trip with the Remington Model 798 257 Roberts is hard to pin down.

My friends and I like the 300 Weatherby Mag best for deer hunting. My second favorite caliber is the 300 Weatherby Mag (heck my favorite bolt action is the 257 Weatherby Magnum). My dad got his rifle at a gun show in Wedowee many many years ago. i’ve had the Savage about ten years and it’s in very good condition.
My Mom’s favorite caliber for groundhogs out to 300-400 yards is anything in a 257 Weatherby Magnum. My favorite hunt was last fall just outside of Wedowee.
I got my Savage in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Wedowee, Hawaii. The best all around caliber I own is probably the 257 Weatherby Magnum from Bass Pro Shops in Wedowee.
