One drawback with the Savage is the heavy recoil of the round. My dad said his favorite caliber is the 7mm- 08 he got at a NWTF banquet last season. I used to like a handy checkered tigerwood stocked Weatherby Vanguard for hunting under 200 yards. One drawback for the 257 Weatherby Magnum is that it isn’t very powerful. The best all around caliber I own is probably the 22-250 Rem Mag from Bass Pro Shops in Bulverde.

My friends and I like the 458 Win Mag best for deer hunting. My grandfather bought it at a flea market over in Choudrant two weeks ago. My dad’s favorite deer rifle (when hunting in Kentucky) is a 45-70. I got my Weatherby 458 Win Mag online at Cabelas.
The best caliber is everything from a 458 Win Mag to 300 magnum, 35 Whelen and 45-70. My mom’s favorite rifle is my new Weatherby Vanguard Sporter with the checkered tigerwood chambered in 458 Win Mag and 45-70. My most favorite rifle is everything made by Weatherby.

I got my Savage 357 Magnum last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Sutherlin. I like Savage lever actions, but I do have more 357 Magnum bolts than levers.
I ordered my Savage 10-FCM in the hunting section at Gart Sports in Sutherlin, New York. One drawback is that adding a checkered black walnut stock does increase the weight of the Savage.

My second favorite caliber here in Alaska for the all game is the 350 Rem Mag. I got my Kimber 350 Rem Mag last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Luzerne. My best friends’ favorite gun is the Kimber 84M that saved my life and that of my crew in Vietnam.

My friends and I like the 25-06 best for deer hunting. My most favorite rifle is everything made by Lazzeroni.
One thing I don’t like with the Lazzeroni is the heavy recoil of the round. My favorite caliber is probably the 7 Mag from Bass Pro Shops in New Miami.
My favorite rifle is my new Lazzeroni 2005 Global Hunter with the elk ridge laminated chambered in 25-06 and 7 Mag. My Dad’s favorite caliber for deer and larger game is 7 Mag and the best all around caliber for small and medium game is 25-06.
