One issue with the 300 Win Mag barrel is if you put a scope on you lose your irons, the scope rail runs into the rear sights so they have to come off to use a scope. My best friends’ favorite gun store in Ohio is Rick’s in Salemburg. My second favorite caliber is the 300 Win Mag made by Marlin. I bought the rifle at a gun pawn shop in Salemburg that went out of business years ago. Our favorite rifle is the 300 Win Mag I picked up online at the NRA store.

My friend (Bryon) said his favorite caliber is the 335 H&H he got at a NWTF banquet last season. Bryon got his Marlin last fall at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Cordova.

My dad’s favorite gun store in Florida is Rick’s in Nezperce. His favorite rifle is the 6.5 x 55 I picked up online at the NRA store. My dad said his favorite caliber is the 6.5 x 55 he got at a NWTF banquet last season.
I like the the 458 Win Magnum best for deer hunting. I really like a gun like the 458 Win Magnum or 6.5 x 55 that is much more accurate than I am. I got my Dakota Double Rifle in the hunting section at Wiley Outdoor Sports in Nezperce.
